Good morning! Doesn't this little turtle make you smile?? Hope he arrives at his destination by February 14th! lol He is on the last page of the big catalog in a set called Very Thankful This set is also the Ronald McDonald House set of stamps for this year. Every year Stampin Up chooses a set of stamps and donates $2 from each set sold to the Ronald McDonald House Charities! So in addition to being a great set of stamps, you are helping children! The strip of DSP is from the Sending Love DSP, and the pretty little felt piece in the corner of the card is from the Sweet Pea felt pieces. Colors used were White, Chocolate Chip, Rose Red and Pretty in Pink. The heart is punched with the large heart punch. This is a quick and easy card to make. Hope you enjoyed stopping by today.

Good morning! I wanted to share this card with you this morning, because it is made using one of the sets of stamps that you can get free during our "Saleabration" sale. For every $50 you spend on merchandise, you get one item free! This set is called Things I Love. I used the new scallop border trim punch to create the lacy effect on the bottom of the card. I used the 1 1/4" and the 1 3/8" punches to layer the little images. The inside says: but most of all you! Isn't that a sweet card? It would make great images for scrapbooking also!
Thanks for stopping by.

This morning's cards are for Valentine's day, and they use some of the new accessories that we have in the Occasions Mini Catalog. The first card uses the heart from the Always set of stamps. I embossed it on Pretty in Pink Card Stock. Then used the new pinking hearts punch for the border on the white. I placed 2 pieces of our new Sweet Pea felt flowers on the new pretty in pink 5/8" satin ribbon. The words that are in the middle are a little hard to see but they are also new - from "Well Scripted" in the mini catalog. They say, "Love you Much" Valentine's Day is such a great opportunity to go all out with accessories! Love it! I also love that it is Saleabration season! For every $50 in merchandise that you buy, you get to choose something free! Woo Hoo! Stamps, paper, punches! Email me for more information: HalfwittStamps@aol.com
The second card was made by my wonderfully talented downline, Bev Joplin! She has taken our Build a Bear dies and created a valentine bear--all dressed in his tux, ready to take his best valentine out for the evening! He is prepared! He has both candy and roses! Maybe you should show this to your husbands, give them a nudge in the right direction! lol I love the use of the new scallop trim corner to create the corners on this card. The designer paper used is Razzleberry Lemonade!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!! Well, ok, so I am a few days late with the greeting, but now I am feeling it, and I wasn't earlier! lol I have been spending time cleaning, straightening, and decluttering my house. yes, it really took this long, and unfortunately, no I am not finished yet. But I feel ssoooo much better! We did get together and make Happy New Year, thank you cards and that was fun. I love the snowman. He originally was a stamp with lines on it for kids to write a Thank You card. I cut that part out and glued it to the back of my stamp, so I could just use the image for making a snowman! And a little glitter was of course necessary! The bird is from Fast and Easy notes, and I used these cards also to say Thank you and happy new year for my Stamp clubs. I love fast and easy cards! Ok, I just love cards--fast, easy, hard, cute, complicated, etc. These 2 were cased from other creative stampers. I love the stamping community.
Thanks for stopping by.
