Brayered Card

Today's card is a case from one that I found online.  I will be glad to give credit if it is yours!  I went back to my emails to see where I had found it, but that email is gone.  I truly mean it as a sincere form of admiration.  I will say that the original was better done!  I need more practice.  Still, I love the look of the hills and the bright sky in the background.  In real life it has a luminescent look.  Thanks Wendy for requesting a brayered card--reminded me how much I do enjoy this technique.  What I like about it most is that it makes me look like I have a little talent.  Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Stamping.

Bloomin' Marvelous

Today's card is another one from this week's Technique Class.  We used the brayer to put color on the Argyle Embossing Folder.  You bray the Pretty in Pink on the concave side of the folder (the smaller side) The put your cardstock in the folder, close the folder and run it through the Big Shot.  WaLa!  It is just like magic!  The background has color, but the raised areaa remains white!!!  Such a simple thingn to be so impressive!  The flowers are from the Free SAB selection, Bloomin Marvelous!  the pearls was al it took to complete this card.  The Argyle reminds me of the lattice that mom's Clematis flowers used to grow on.  My mom would have enjoyed this card!  After Mom died, I was going through her things, and in the big Bible that she always kept in a cabinet in the living room, was every card that we had ever given her.  Even the ones, or maybe especially the ones, that my kids had made for her were all there!  This one is for you Mom!

Lace Tape Stencil

Today's card features the Delicate Details Lace tape.  And the cool part????  This isn't really the tape, but the image made when you use the tape as a stencil.  I applied the tape and then put a post it note along the right edge, near the edge of the paper tape.  I then used a sponge and Pretty in Pink ink to sponge the color on the card.  Once the color was on, I removed the tape, and this is what you get!!!  it really makes it look like the real deal!   I added the rhinestones to add a bit of Glitz!  The flower is from Love and Sympathy.  Such a quick and easy card--I love it!  Thanks for stopping by!   Stop by again tomorrow and see another card from my Technique class that we had tonight.  Again I will be using the Pretty in Pink and white combination!
