Packing Tape Technique

Hello! Here are the pictures that I promised you from the Downline meeting on Sunday. My friend, Monta, brought us the card with the clear butterfly on it as her card trade. Isn't it awesome? I have also included a closseup of the butterfly and also of another card with the same technique using the heart punch. This is a technique she created using clear packing tape!
To create the heart card, she layered 2 pieces of clear packing tape and placed them behinda a piece of red cardstock, with the heart punched out. Then she put Glossy Glaze Enamel (#100477) on top of the tape. she used a brush to clear off any excess that went on the cardstock. Then she gently heated the glaze with the heat gun. Caution: You can't heat it too much, or the tape melts! Just enough to melt the embossing powder. I love the icy look it creates! She not only brought the card to share with us, but taught us the technique as well! What fun we had! Thanks for stopping by!
