As hot as it is here these last few days, it is hard to think about Christmas, but it is time for my Christmas In July Card class! But I will just crank up the air conditioning and get stamping! lol We made one card tonight at our Stamp Club--tonight's technique was embossing. So we used the snowflake from Best Wishes and More, the tree from Snow Swirled and the little deer from Forest Friends. We stamped the snowflake with Versamark and embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then we brayered over the embossed images with bashful blue classic ink. The tree and the deer are stamped on Cardstock Vellum. The ribbon is the beautiful 5/8" white satin. I love the feel of it--feels luxurious. The other card was made using our Movers and Shapers die with the new scalloped oval die! The whisper white insert was stamped with a stamp from Short and Sweet. The snowflake was again from Best Wishes and More, and was also stamped with Versamark. This card wasn't one of our cards for tonight, it was just a demonstration of the Big Shot. With our special this week of the Doctor's Bag for $49.99, it seemed a good time to demo the Big shot again!
